Last night we got to see the first episode of The Office, Season 3. Compliments of Scott and Lisa, thanks guys! It was GREAT! I was wondering how they were going to make the first episode super funny when they left off last season with Pam and Jim’s kiss. They must have thought long and hard becuase they did it perfectly. I am so impressed with the first episode, it just makes me so excited for the rest of the season. The Office rocks! If you don’t know you better find out.
It’s going to be hard waiting a week like everyone else. I’m used to watching shows after they’ve been on t.v. for years and I can watch and entire season in one day. Oh well. I will just have to fill my week up with lots of other shows.
Prison Break is a favorite right now, we’re in the middle of season 1. Scott and Lisa told us last night though that season 2 is kind of sucking. Sad.
Badger is on my lap right now, he is so needy. He has gas too, stinky poo! Everytime I put him down on the floor he jumps right back on my lap. It’s cute.
We ran around the neighborhood this morning and saw a million cats. I tried hard to follow my new rule of not talking to animals, beacuse they tend to follow you, but after awhile it got hard and I decided that if they have a collar on then I can talk to them.
We saw the most adorable manx kitten (what is up with the manx cats everywhere?) and he had a collar on so we decided to talk to him and then that led to petting him and soon he was trying to follow us down the street. We put him in someone’s yard and ran off. He was way too cute though. I gotta stay indoors, I’ll end up with 500 cats living around here.
No more talking to animals, no more!
Here is a cute cat that belongs to someone we know. Isn’t he cute?

The sun was shining just right and it made his eyes water . . . click to get the full size pic

You know what, I’ve been doing this blog for just over a year now. Wow, I am sooo cool. I thought I’d take some time and let you reflect on my coolness, so here is a deep thoughts post from a year ago:

Michael had a 3 day weekend so we had lots of fun. We stayed a night out at the river with his parents and then went out to breakfast with the family Saturday morning. Then Saturday afternoon we drove down to Eugene in the burning heat to look at Airstreams. Oh my goodness they are so awesome! We picked out the one we want, now we just need to save up, a lot.
Saturday evening we had a blast with Scott and Lisa. Lisa even made chocolate cake, that is all I need for a guaranteed good time! We watched Shaun of the dead, it was awesome. I repeat, awesome.
Sunday was a work around the house day with a little lazy lounging. Spunky liked the lounging, obviously.
We didn’t make it to the fair this year. Too bad so sad. We did finally get couches though. We got them yesterday and now all I need to do is clean them, and make my white slip covers. I’m so excited!
This house down the street is for sale, 275K, ugh. I love it though.
Spunky says hi!
Since a picture is worth a thousand words I think I have said enough for now. Thanks for hanging with me !

This first one has no music but it’s still funny:
I saved the best for last (Thanks Lisa and Scott!)

So weekend before last we went to Wild Waves up in Federal Way, Wa. It was perfect because that’s when it was so hot out and so we didn’t freeze while standing in line to go on the slides. It was nice and warm!
We went up there with Justin and Sabina and we camped at a place about 15 minutes away. We got there Thursday night, set up our tent and crashed. Friday morning we got up and had a nice breakfast of sausages and french toast. Then it was off the the water park. We were there from about 11:00 till 6:00 and had a straight blast. We ate lunch in the parking lot by the van since you can’t take food in. We didn’t want to spend a billion dollars on food since it’s $30 just to get into the park. Then they get you with another $12 just to park in the lot. It was worth it though, the gravel is grade A after all. (is there such a thing?)
Camping was super fun. Justin and Sabina are true little campers. We had burgers and yummy turkey sausages for dinner along with pasta salad and potato salad and these yum-tastic chips Sabina grabbed from WinCo, Maui Onion flavor. yeah so then we played some cards and a little truth or dare.
We had french toast again on Saturday morning (we all kept thinking it was Sunday since the adventure started Thursday) and then we were all packed up and ready to go by about 11. We went to Starbucks so they could get their coffe fix and I got a yummy Chai tea. Mmmmm. Sabina got some dramamine for her motion sickness and that basically put her right to sleep. It was nice to get home and know we still had one day before Michael had to go back to work.
Since it was such a hot weekend we left our air conditioner on in my sewing room with the door open and had tons, I mean tons, of food and water out for the cats. If you’ve been reading my blog for long you also know that Princess is on a little diet and I feed her mushed up wet cat food. She’s totally crazy and will eat ’till she barfs if left unsupervised. I knew that all the dry cat food plus Princess and her eating problem would mean big messes when we got home
I was right. She barfed here and there but more than that she crapped all over the house. Her craps are definitely identifiable as hers because she just can’t seem to take care of all her business in one squat. She splits it up into three little sessions (it’s really sad that I know her that well). Sometimes I am way to excited to turn to Michael and say “She’s your cat. . .”

So this last weekend after the quilt show I went over to our friends Justin and Sabina’s house because Michael had spent the day with them and we were all going to have dinner together. They had already eaten by the time I got there, so I pigged out solo on some super yummy pizza and salad. Anyway this salad dressing they had was so yum-yum! It is Newman’s Own, lowfat Sesame Ginger. Maybe you wanna try it because it is magical. I love it and bought some and we ate it last night. . .
After the eating I went to the video store with Sabina. There is a lot of movies out right now. I was trying to remember things so I could add them to my netflix queue, which already has like 300 things in it by the way. So we rented Flight Plan and The Perfect Man.
I liked both movies, but probably wouldn’t watch either of them again. I don’t really like Jodie Foster, and I’m not sure why but she just doesn’t do it for me. The other movie was real cute, more of a teen movie than I thought it was going to be, more Hilary Duff than Heather Locklear (Who is so pretty. . .) Yeah so that’s all I’ve got to say for now. Try that new dressing (I’m not sure if it’s new, but it’s yummy) and go ahead and see Flight Plan but don’t buy it, unless you totally can’t get enough of Jodie Foster.
Oooh wait, more movies. We watched March of the Penguins awhile ago, that movie was so good! I loved it, the penguins are so cute and it is just amazing what animals do. Then we saw Grandma’s Boy at Bart and Summer’s; OMG that was funny!

I am now a subscriber of Sirius Satellite Radio, and I love it! It’s some cool stuff people!
Sirius even has a music station just of 80’s hair bands, that is so awesome! Another favorite of mine is the E! true hollywood stories, good stuff.
It is commercial free when I’m listening to music stations but there are commercials on the E! station, I swear they are all for debt consolidation stuff and they say the phone number three times in a row. Whatever, it’s so much better than t.v.!
