I am now a subscriber of Sirius Satellite Radio, and I love it! It’s some cool stuff people!
Sirius even has a music station just of 80’s hair bands, that is so awesome! Another favorite of mine is the E! true hollywood stories, good stuff.
It is commercial free when I’m listening to music stations but there are commercials on the E! station, I swear they are all for debt consolidation stuff and they say the phone number three times in a row. Whatever, it’s so much better than t.v.!

Here is some weird stuff. I know wrecks happen all the time, every day, every minute but how often is it that you have two friends that got into an accident the same day as you? Um, not often I don’t think.
Well I have two friends that both got in an accident on the same day as me. One of them got rear ended and the other backed into someone. That’s just weird and crazy. Michael thought it was blog worthy material so I’m blogging it baby!

So I had some crazy weird dreams Saturday night. We were staying out at Michael’s Parents house. Normally their house is pretty cool, temperature wise, so we always turn up the heat because we’re freezing! So anyway we go to be and I had no idea the heat would turn on in the middle of the night, but it did.
I’m not sure what heat has to do with nightmares but whenever I’m hot I always have them.

This is definitely the birthday weekend, my little sister Kendel turns 17 today and Michael is 26 tomorrow. At least I get to eat lots of cake without feeling like a piggy pooh, I mean it’s rude not to eat cake at someone’s party, right? Right! Mmmmm.
My birthday was 2 weeks ago and Michaels mom made me the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life, seriously! It was so freaking yum-a-licious! Though most things taste better when someone else makes them and I am also a baker-galore so most of the treats I eat are made by me, it was nice to have a change of pace for my birthday. Thanks for the best birthday cake ever Marlee!!

Everyone keeps telling me “It’s not your fault”, “it was an accident”, “at least no one was hurt” . . . But I really just want to put my thoughts out here into the internet oblivion . . .
You know, getting in a wreck is really a crazy thing. It happens so fast, and in just seconds so many things are different. I have never been in a major accident before and I pray to God that I never will be again. I have spent the past week in bed because at first my shoulder/back and neck were killing me and then I was just depressed.
I mean when you’re in an accident that’s one thing but then to have caused the accident is another. I had Katie and Leann with me and they were both totally banged up, scraped and bruised. I feel so guilty for that one second when I didn’t look up at the light before going into the intersection. They both saw the light was red before I did and when they screamed out I looked up and just saw the redest red I had ever seen. Then there was yellow, a freakin’ short yellow school bus. BAM!
The whole life flashing before your eyes thing didn’t happen to me, so maybe on some level I knew we weren’t going to die. Either way the whole was really scary. It’s just so weird though that one second you can be laughing and the next second your jumping out of a smashed truck.
Every time I get into a car I know that there is the possibility of a collision, and also the possibilty of death. It’s a risk you take when you dirve, you’re getting into this big (or small) little metal bubble and you’re just hoping that you and every one around you is paying attention. For that one second of my diverted attention I payed a price much too great. You think that taking your eyes off the road for just a split second will be okay because how much can really happen, right? Well the light could change, a pedestrian could step into the street or a car ahead of you could slam on thier brakes.
I’m not even sure what the point of this post is but I just want to remind you that driving is dangerous and you really don’t want to take a chance on seeing what will happen if you reach down for that dropped cd or whatever.
So I will try to get back to my funny story telling self really soon, I know you all miss me so much!
