Yup, started the day off right with some good old fashioned movie watching! We watched the Island with Scarlett Johan-something and Ewan McGregor. Really pretty good little action movie. No complaints. Now it’s time to get busy, gotta finish the house and get some serious work done. I’ll talk to ya’ll some more later!

Again it was rainy and gray and depressing outside!! I hate it, I want sun! We went to go see Lord of War at the Northern Lights Theatre Pub on Sunday and it was really a good movie. We got our dinner there too and really weren’t impressed with it at all. We had a california chicken wrap and pepperoni pizza, really not so good. Michael says they need mre greasy deep fried stuff, corn dogs, burritos you know stuff like that. When you eat out you want some bad stuff that you don’t normally eat all the time. At least I do :)

So our verdict is go there to see movies but pass on the pizza and wraps, not all that you will want them to be. Next time we’ll probably get popcorn and candy, how can you go wrong with that combo?

Well for Halloween Angie and I went to the Southside Speakeasy to do a little dancing. Angie was really fun to watch dance, she’s a crazy girl. Definitely the best dancer there. Anyway, at the last minute for some reason I totally started freaking out about what to wear and ended up wearing some navy blue, wool, sailor pants and a little hat. I wasn’t really anything but a dork for Halloween. Yeah for me! Angie was a painter girl. Rhianna was supposed to go too but then cancelled out like a nerd bomber, too bad so sad, we can’t all be winners. ha ha.

I was originally going to wear my snow white satin top I made a few years ago with some jeans but the arm bands were bugging so then I was gonna wear the top to my cool nurse costume but the boning in the front was stabbing me, so I removed it but then decided I still looked stupid so I took it off. Really pathetic Halloween attire for me, but whatever. Next year though, oh you wait, it’s gonna be awesome.

So I got home after we danced for about an hour and a half and I stunk to high heaven of ciggarette smoke, yuck! That stuff just seeps into everything and lurks there. Not being a smoker, duh, you can smell it a lot easier and now my awesome wool sailor pants are stinky pooh! The price you pay for fun right, again I just have to say whatever.

Well the house is teeny tiny but we got all our stuff into it somehow someway. Thanks so much for helping us Herm, Marlee and Angie!! We couldn’t have done the move so quick and easy without you guys!! We still don’t have the fridge or stove in the house becuase we were painting the fridge black and then it started to rain so we didn’t get to finish it before we moved in. It is in the laundry room right now, waiting to be moved into the kitchen.

Since we installed the wood flooring we are being really careful not to scratch it so we need to get a dolly to bring the appliances back into the kitchen. It is kind of annoying to not have a full size fridge, we are using a little tiny one right now but it barely fits all our condiments. Luckily we were all out of food when we moved or we would have had to throw lots of stuff away.

So tonight is kinda Halloween night, since Halloween is on a Monday. We were all supposed to go dancing tonight but now just Angie and I are going, we’ll still have tons of fun anyway! I like dancing so I am excited. I think I’m dressing up as snow white.

I got the urge to watch the Wizard of OZ and carve pumkins today but I don’t have that movie, and I didn’t have a way to get to the store to buy a pumkin, and I really didn’t want to do it all by myself. Michael went to play painball with Justin so they had the Jeep all day. It’s about 6:15 right now, it’s getting dark and angie and I are leaving in about 2 hours.

Today I grouted the tile in the entry way, looks pretty spiffy too. Now I just have to do the laundry room and that’ll be that for now. It kinda sucks the house wasn’t all done before we moved in becuase now we have to keep shifting piles of boxes around because we can’t put anything in the laundry room while we use it as the “paint booth”.

Speaking of the laundry room, I painted it this really awesome happy light green color, cause I love green! but then we put the slate tile on the floor and the green looks so yucky. It was soo cute with the white linoleum, pooh! We are going to paint the walls a light brownish tan color now instead.

I don’t really know what to write about, haven’t really been having much fun moving in here so I’m not really having many funny thoughts to write about. I think Angie is gonna bring her camera tonight and if so I’ll post some pics on here for ya to see.

One little thing about the cats and the move, they are totally chill. They don’t even care, Princess just crawled up on the couch and she slept there all day and spunky layed on the floor by the heater. I took a picture but I can’t find the cord to load it onto the computer from the camera. I probably put it in a box with something totally random like bathroom stuff or something. I’ll probably find it in a week or so.

Yup wow is what I have to say, actually wow I’m tired is more like it. Michael and I are moving into a little house in west Salem that his parents own. It was a rental, which means it was trizz-ashed! Someone let their kitty piss in the corner and we had to rip up the carpet to take out the smelly pad when Michael realized the piss soaked it’s way through to the flooring.

All this lead to us asking his parents if we could install that laminate wood flooring stuff in there, they said yes, so now that’s what we are doing. The house so far inside has a new coat of paint, shampooed bedroom carpets (thanks Chris for the advice from you and your Dad!!) and slate tiles in the entry and laundry room. I haven’t grouted the tiles yet but they look so awesome!!

We have run into a lot of set backs, but hey that happens with every project. We have been to Lowes and Home Depot about 50 times in the past four days. OH! we saw a fox today in the airport field as we were leaving Lowes this morning. It was so cute, it was just there hanging out and jumping around, I saw it then scream to Michael “It’s a Fox!” (Good thing we didn’t crash!)

It is 12:35 Monday night, or Tuesday moring actually. I am so freaking tired that I don’t know what to do. I decided to check my e-mail because I haven’t all day and I see that Chris left me a little message about how I haven’t posted anything in four days. I felt bad, like my fans were just waiting for me to write something, anything! So here I am, trying to write with sore hands, a sore neck and stinky feet that have been in shoes for 15 hours straight!

So where have I been the past 4 days? Here is the run down peeps:

Friday: sewed Halloween costumes from 8a.m. - 3 p.m. worked on house from 4 p.m. -10 p.m. (bought all the supplies for the flooring and ripped up all the carpet and padding in the living room. Also removed all linoleum from the kitchen. Layed tile in entry way)

Saturday: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. We worked on the floors some more, removed about 5 bazillion staples from the handy man who had a staple fetish and stapled the padding down like it had to make it through a hurricane, even if the carpet is gone at least we’ll still have the padding! Then for the wood flooring the subfloor has to be level so we did that too. I layed the tile in t

Sunday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m Finished tile in laundry room, leveled the floor some more, painted trim, sawed the trim so the flooring will fit under it, removed floor board that the kitty pissed on, the smell just wouldn’t die! Lots more stuff I can’t remember

Monday: 9 a.m. - midnight Went to Lowes to buy an mdf board, Shampooed carpets, layed down over half the wood flooring and tons of other things, again I can’t really remember at the moment. I’m so TIRED!!

So now we are moving tomorrow, taking a bunch of crap to the dump and returning the carpet shampooer. Love you guys, thanks for reading my blog, it’s fun!

Everything is pretty chill right now, no crazy happenings today. Actually if you just stay inside the house everyday you are pretty much guaranteed that nothing crazy will happen. Normally in your own house you have a little bit of control when it comes to the “Craziness of Life” factor. This is all getting to the point that I didn’t leave my house today. I didn’t do anything besides eat and sew. I kind of spread myself a little thin with Halloween costume orders this year and that added with my dumb sewing machine breaking and here I am . . . Sewing for like 12 hours straight. Yup, 10 a.m. to 10p.m. I only stopped because you can’t make a lot of noise after 10 p.m. I guess normal people actually go to bed at a decent hour. Rats!

So it’s 11:30 now, Michael and I just watched a few episodes of Arrested Development season 2 on DVD. That show is so freakin’ funny!! Buster is my favorite character. I’m going to the gym at 6 in the morning with Rhianna tomorrow and I’m gonna lift some weights. I pay $50 a month for that membership and I swear I haven’t been there in a month. I never thought I would be a person that had the membership but that didn’t go, it’s kinda sad. But I was running a lot so it’s not too sad. I just have to get buff tomorrow because we are moving on Monday. I actually like moving, crazy I know~

Michael bought (actually “gifted” me from iTunes) the new Ashley Simpson album for me the other day, and I really like it. My music taste is so weird, I like basically everything but chick rock is pretty high on my list. I like her voice a lot, kinda raspy/raw. I also have a few songs from Imogen Heap and Sleater-Kinney that I’m rockin’ too. Oh and 30 seconds to Mars is great too!

Tonight Michael forgot to put Princess’ food in her cubby hole with her (she sleeps in the bathroom, under the sink) so she was meowing so loud like Give me my freaking meat bi-product smoothy right now!! (she eats ground catfood but we have to mix water in with it so she can slurp it up, she has not so many teeth to chew with. It looks so yummy, I might slurp some up one day too. eeeeew, actually I almost puke everytime I have to make it for her. NASTY!!)

Michael, Chris and I had polish dogs for lunch today at Costco. $1.50 and you get a yummy polish dog with all the fixin’s and a soda you can just keep on re-fillin’. I also got a pretzle and a fruit sundae! I was hungry.

So as far as my idea to call people, um I didn’t do it today. I suck! I was just not feeling my phone today, it had a bad attitude so I just left it alone in my purse. That’s all for now. Well the day after Monday was not too much better than the day that came before it (Monday). I always have these big dreams of how much I am going to accomplish and then, well 5:00 rolls around and I’m like “I better wrap up whatever it is I have been fooling myself into thinking I have been so busy with all day”. Yeah so that kinda sums up today. I got up at 7, worked on sewing some costumes (Halloween is coming!!) and then I got side tracked with taking some pics of the cats, they are cute though!!

Yesterday was interrupted by a call from my mother which I thought was to congratulate me on running the marathon but was actually just to ask me for a ride because “the electric was shut off and “. . . blah blah blah . . . “I have to be there before 5:00″ . . . blah blah blah . . . “could you drop me off” . . . blah blah blah . . . (i’m not trying to be mean or anything but that’s what the phone call was like)

So no phone calls for favors from the taxi driver but I did call my longtime pal Merry. She came here this summer and left without saying goodbye, but I forgive her and I know she’s gonna read this and be like “What?” but come on, you know and I know, you just left without a hug :( Anyway we had a good chat, she was wiping some pooh off her kitty’s butt when I called so that was nifty :) I got her address so I can send her a little present I bought her. Her Birthday is coming up. She lives in Alaska. I met her when I was 13, she was almost 12. That was a LONG time ago. We are like blood, we don’t see or talk to each other for a year or so at times but when we see eachother again it is like we just hung out yesterday, kinda totally awesome! Love ya Mer!

Then I got a call from my super good pal Rhianna. She just wanted to hear some fun stuff so she called me for a laugh, no actually she just wanted to tell me some funny stories. Her car died on her twice and she had to get pushed out of the road, what a loser, ha ha just kidding girl! Her battery was the loser but she just wasn’t ready to part with it so she just let it fail her over and over again, until her dad made her give it up. Rhianna. . . it’s a battery . . . it’s dead . . . you’ll be better off without it :) It’s late and I’m being silly but it was good of her to call me.

You always have people you want to call and talk to but you’re like “oh I’ll do it later” blabbity blah and yet you just keep putting it off, but you mean to call, you want to call, you really do love them. Ugh it just never happens! I always want to call everyone but I’m always like “Oh great now it’s dinner time” or “Shoot, I can’t call now ’cause in 10 minutes my Totino’s pizza will be done, then what? Do I talk to them and eat it, but try to pretend I’m not eating, like chew quiet and when they ask What’s that noise? do I just say oh it’s my cat ” It’s all just too much!

So if you’re reading this becuase I sent you an e-mail and was all “read my blog becuase I’m so cool I think everyone wants to read dumb words I type” but yet I don’t call you, now you know. Hey I do get points though because I called Merry. I win!
